New Delhi, March 27: Astronomers have identified a new dwarf planet beyond the known edge of the Solar System. The distant dwarf planet has been named "2012 VP113”. This is likely to be one of thousands of distant objects that are believed to form the so-called inner Oort cloud. The discovery also indicates the potential presence of an enormous planet, perhaps up to 10 times the size of Earth, not yet seen, but possibly influencing the orbit of this dwarf planet.
