Why you shouldn’t workout in the gym when you are unwell; know the risks


Working out when having fever in the body dehydrates the body more rapidly. Due to the rapid loss of water, the fever can worsen as well.

In addition to this, health reports say fever already weakens muscle strength and endurance, and working out during this time makes the muscles prone to injury and might take more time to recover.

Therefore, do not go to the gym when you have a fever. In case of doubt, ask your fitness trainer.
