Innovation will alone help survive in competitive world: Education Minister Botcha


VIJAYAWADA: Education minister Botcha Satyanarayana has said that students should always be innovative and smart to survive in the competitive world. He exhorted that the students should keep themselves ahead of the times to realise their goals. The Minister inaugurated the state level Poly Tech Fest 2022-23, here on Thursday. Students from all the government and private polytechnic institutions presented their scientific projects during the tech fest.
Addressing the students, the minister said that chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is giving highest priority to education, health and agriculture sectors. He said that education sector witnessed complete transformation in the last 40 months due to the chief minister’s focus right from the primary education. He said that state government had launched several initiatives to help students realise their dreams. “Now, it is up to you as to best you could make use of the schemes launched by the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and realise your goals,” said Botcha.
Technical education director Chadalavada Nagarani said that Poly Tech Fest is a big opportunity for the students to bring out their ideas and innovation. She said that tech fest was organised on a big scale to encourage the students make experiments with their studies. “Practical knowledge and experiments will only bring out your skills. You should keep honing the skills till you reach the pinnacle,” said Nagarani. She said that the technical education department is prepared to extend fullest support to the students coming with innovative projects. She said that about 1000 projects were presented at the regional events organized in 13 places.
Interestingly, education minister Botcha Satyanarayana launched the event in an innovative way through bluetooth technology. Everybody was astonished after seeing the new way of lighting the lamp. Minister congratulated the students saying that it showed the true spirit of the technical students and their zeal for inventing and using new technology. Employment director Lavanya Veni, AP planning board vice-chairman Malladi Vishnu were also present.
