CUET PG 2023 exam date released, application process to commence in mid-March


NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct CUET-PG from June 1 to 10, 2023. The application process is to start in mid-March 2023.
According to M Jagadesh Kumar, chairperson, UGC, the second edition of the Common University Entrance Test for post graduate admission will be conducted in June 2023. The UGC had already announced the undergraduate test will be conducted in May.
In the first edition of the university admission entrance test 66 universities participated. According to sources, the number is likely to surpass 100 this year.
“This is a great opportunity for students to try for admission to multiple universities in post-graduate programmes using the CUET-PG score,” said Kumar.
Central universities such as Delhi University and Benaras Hindu University which didn’t participated in the first edition of the test in 2022 will also be part of the entrance in 2023.
The CUET PG 2022 question paper was conducted in English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for language and Sahitya papers. Further the Shiksha Shastri and the Shiksha Acharya subject, entire 100 questions of the question paper was in Sanskrit language. The PG question paper consisted of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided into two sections – Part A and Part B. There were 25 MCQs in part A while part B of the question paper was included 75 objective-type questions.
While the part A of CUET PG question paper comprised of questions from General Knowledge/Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative ability, Analytical Skills and Logical Reasoning, the part B of the question paper was based on domain specific subjects.
