Chandigarh: Three students of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh were placed as part of the top 100 students in Stage II of the coveted Aryabhata Ganith Challenge (AGC) 2022 conducted by CBSE. Aarush Singhal of IX A, Pranit of XC, and Vandita Jain X A were placed amongst the top 100 students in the National Level of the competition that was held in two stages.
The Central Board of Secondary Education initiated the AGC challenge for the students of classes 8 to 10, with an aim to focus on the extent to which children are able to apply mathematics to their daily life. This challenge was conducted in two phases – a pen-and-paper test at the school level and an online computer-based test at the national level. The three students have completed the national level by putting up an impressive performance.
Director (Edu) and Sr. Principal Vineeta Arora congratulated the students and the teachers of the mathematics department and wished the math wizards great success on their journey ahead.
