TNPSC declares Group IV exam results
CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Friday announced Group IV exam results.

More than 18 lakh candidates appeared for the Group IV examinations conducted on July 24, 2022.
It is one of the largest exams conducted by the TNPSC. The commission said that the delay in results was because of the huge volume of scanning OMR sheets.

UPSC NDA 1 Admit Card 2023 released at upsc.gov.in, download now
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission on Friday released the UPSC NDA 1 Admit Card 2023. Candidates who will appear for the UPSC National Defence Academy exam can visit the official website at upsc.gov.in to download the admit card.
The UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2023 is set to be conducted on April 16, 2023, for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 151st Course and for the 113th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) which will commence next year on January 02, 2024.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link available for ‘e-Admit Cards for VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’.
Step 3: Now, click on the download link given for NDA/NA 1.
Step 4: Log in with the help of your Registration ID/Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Step 5: Your UPSC NDA admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the hall ticket and get its printout for further use.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel released the action plan of Gujarat University’s Climate Change Center of Excellence in Gandhinagar. Under this action plan, Gujarat University has to carry out mainly five types of functions. With context to sustainable campus, Energy efficiency and waste management activities will be undertaken along with increasing usage of solar energy in university buildings-colleges.
Not only this, the establishment of weather stations along with other universities and educational institutions collaboration will be carried out on the topics pertaining to climate change. The action plan also includes industry-academia partnerships and covering climate change in the curriculum in all faculties of the university.
It was decided to establish a Climate Change Center of Excellence in one of the government universities of the state in the budget of the year 2021-22. One and a half crore rupees were also allotted for this purpose. In this regard, Gujarat University was selected for the Climate Change Center of Excellence after scrutiny of the proposals invited from all the government universities of the state.
A separate course on climate change is being run by this university since last 10 years. Apart from this, exploratory-research work has also been carried out by the university for degrees up to Ph.D. in various subjects under climate change. Now, an action plan has been prepared to further expand the scope of this Center of Excellence.

NEW DELHI: The Telangana Open School Society has released the TS TOSS Intermediate, SSC date sheet 2023 today, March 24, 2023. Students who are going to appear for the Telangana Open School Exams can check the timetable on the official website – telanganaopenschool.org.
According to the official schedule, TOSS exams for Classes 10, 12 will commence on April 25, 2023, while the practical examinations for Inter general and vocational subjects are set to be conducted from May 12 to May 19, 2023.
The examinations will be conducted in two shifts i.e., shift 1 from 9:30 AM to 12 Noon and shift 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The TOSS Intermediate Exam 2023 will start with Telugu, Urdu, and Arabic language papers in the first shift and a Hindi paper in the second shift while the TOSS SSC Exam 2023 will commence with Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Marathi papers in the shift 1 and a psychology paper in the shift 2.

Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison honored with her own stamp
Toni Morrison, who is the first black woman to win the Nobel Prize in literature, is honored by the United States Postal Service (USPS) with her ‘own forever’ stamp to celebrate her legacy.
The design was unveiled at a ceremony at Princeton University, where Morrison taught for more than 15 years. The university is currently holding a series of exhibitions and programs dedicated to Morrison’s achievements, life, and legacy.

Morrison’s legacy is celebrated till date and the impact she had on American literature can still be seen. Her work is taught in American classrooms as a part of the syllabus.
The new stamp features a portrait of Morrison taken by photographer Deborah Feingold, who took the picture while shooting a cover for Time magazine in 1997.
Honoring the prolific writer, who died in 2019, US Postal service had issued this new stamp which has this 1997 portrait picture of Toni Morrison.
A letter from former US President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama was also read at the ceremony.
Oprah Winfrey sent a video tribute for the author.
Smithsonian Magazine quoting Pritha Mehra’s statement, Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of the Postal Service, said, “One of the goals of our stamp program is to raise awareness and celebrate the people who represent the very best of our nation. We honor Toni Morrison with one more tribute- our new stamp that will be seen by millions and forever remind us of the power of her words and the ideas she brought to the world.”

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission has declared the SSC Selection Post Additional Result 2022 for Phase X/2022 Selection Posts Examination Matriculation level and Higher Secondary (10+2) level today, March 24, 2023. Candidates who appeared for these examinations can download the result from the official website – ssc.nic.in.
The candidates who are selected through the additional results for the next stage of scrutiny will have to submit a copy of all supporting documents in the form of a hard copy with the application form through the speed post to all regional offices by April 14, 2023, by speed post.
